Overview

We focus on concrete for commercial, shop, and agricultural buildings: footings and frost walls, warehouse and shop floors, equipment pads, and the aprons and approaches that take truck and machinery traffic every day.

Thickness, reinforcement, base preparation, drainage, and joint layout are planned around how the concrete will be used, and pours are scheduled around Minnesota weather so the work cures properly.

Planning Guide

Planning Your Concrete Project

Concrete for Buildings That Work Hard

Most concrete searches lead to driveways and patios. EVO's concrete work is built for commercial, shop, and farm use: foundations and frost walls, building floors, equipment pads, and aprons that carry loaded trucks and machinery.

Because the concrete is planned with the building, details like anchor bolt locations, floor drains, door openings, and slab elevations are coordinated before the pour instead of fixed afterward.

Planning the Slab Around Its Use

A shop floor that holds a skid steer is different from one that holds a semi or a loaded grain cart. We plan thickness, reinforcement, base preparation, and joint layout around the actual loads and traffic the concrete will see.

Drainage and slope matter just as much. Floors, aprons, and pads are set to move water away from doors and foundations, which helps protect the concrete through freeze-thaw cycles.

Working With Minnesota Weather

Concrete needs the right conditions to cure. Pours are scheduled around temperature and rain, and cold-weather practices are used when a project can't wait for spring.

Planning concrete early in the project helps foundations and floors fit into the season instead of holding up the rest of the build.
